I can shoot for every two weeks, yeah?? That's better than nothing! Anyway, not a whole ton has been happening. Just going to post the pics and caption them!
So..... Once a month, yeah? I wrote the above on November 1. Every two weeks will not happen!
Anyway, here we go. Halloween was fun :) I was able to get my kids ready and take them up to my old work to trick or treat and see my work friends again. Chloe was a witch and Adam was a hobo. His costume was ridiculously easy :) Just shopped in our closets for their costumes and added some other little touches. We then went around to Shane's parent's ward area. It was nice to have Shane with us - even though he had to go in to work that night. He was a trooper and the kids always love having him do these things with us.
Then life got pretty standard for a while.... Same old, same old. And that is good :) Eric is getting bigger and bigger and more and more smiley. I feel bad that I can't just have him laying out on the ground much during the day because of the CRAZY daycare kids I have. They are not calm children :)
Adam got stitches, again. He was climbing over the side of the couch and fell, jumped, whatever he did. He hit the subwoofer box. I was upstairs and only heard him cry. Of course, my immediate reaction is to scold. He always plays on the couch when he knows he not supposed to. Mid-yell, Chloe says, "He's bleeding!" Oh crap. I am holding Eric and run down the stairs. He's got a stream of blood down the side of his face and when he moves his hand, a nice gash on his brow. I put down a screaming Eric and assign Chloe to him. I get a wet paper towel for Adam and start getting ready to go to the Urgent Care :) I NEVER had any stitches or anything like that when I was a kid, so to have this happen twice within 6 months is a bit much for my liking. Adam is so funny though. After the initial shock of it all, he was totally calm. On the drive to the clinic, he was asking what rhymes with "blood". Such as sweet boy.
Anyway, Shane had been working and it was a weeknight so I just alerted him to the situation. He was on his way home and met us at the clinic. After he made sure everything was ok, I sent him home. My kids actually behave really well in these situations and Shane needed to get to sleep.
The last time he had stitches, a nurse came out and put the numbing gel on Adam's owie while we waited. This time, they waited until we were in the room. Because of this, he was not as numb so they had to give him a shot. That's where things went south. It was so sad. I was holding Eric and a nurse was helping too, but the poor boy... They just had to keep injecting the stuff to numb it up. Even then, it was still sensitive. He's my kid...
After 5 stitches, we went home and he was back his normal self. I am still yelling daily for him to stop jumping on the couch/climbing on the furniture/jumping off of things.... He's a boy. I just hope CPS doesn't come knocking on my door anytime soon.
The last event is my brother's wedding. James married Maria, a very lovely lady, on November 16. It was a very beautiful ceremony and it was nice to see of their friends/family come and support them.
OH! And I forgot - my niece, Haley, had her baby :) Mabel Jae Lott. I haven't visited yet - but the pictures are ADORABLE. My sister is a grandma. My mom is a GREAT grandma. I am a great aunt. The family just keeps growing and growing. I'm glad that my kids will have plenty of cousins to play with (on both sides!).

| Eric is getting sick of my constant picture taking. Oh well :) |
| Chloe is still a great big sister |
| Just can't stop with the pictures. |
| Chloe and Adam love each other. It's so precious. Annoying when I want them to go to bed, but still precious :) |
| Carved pumpkins at Shane's parent's house. |
| Shane's dad knows how to get things done. Power tools :) |
| I know you're not supposed to take pictures in church, but this was too cute. He just laid down on the bench and started dozing off. |
| He oftentimes falls asleep on the landing. Whatever... |
| My little witch and hobo. I don't believe in buying totally pre-made costumes so mine are almost always totally homemade. |
| And it's stitches again... |
| He was so chill that he was telling stories in the chair. |
| My brother, James, got married. |
So that's the last uneventful month :) We are SO looking forward to be going to Logandale for Thanksgiving. I love going home. I only get to go twice a year so I get pretty excited. I will have lots to report from that, I am sure. Until next time :)
What a fun month! love the pictures of your adorable children. The costumes turned out awesome...even if I am still seeing glitter everywhere here at work :)
