In case you missed my FaceBook announcement, I am pregnant :) I know I should wait until I'm further along to tell people and blah blah, but I've known for a month and I've been to the doctor and just cannot hold it in any longer! I'm only 9 weeks along and am due September 27. And I just have to say, I am one of the lucky ones who does not get sick :) Were it not for the 4 pregnancy tests and dr's visit, and the lack of visit from "Aunt Flo" then I would have no idea that I am pregnant.
Anyway, I'm so excited. I have been ready for this since Chloe was about 6 months old. Yes, I want lots of babies. LOTS AND LOTS. I can think of nothing better than having a huge family for years of fun. I can't imagine having less than 4 kids --- and even that is a very small number for me. Unfortunately, I am not the only decision maker and having c-sections might make that decision for me.... I think I will keep doing that just due to the ease and comfort and everything. Be as judgmental as you want. It is what works for me and I feel like I handle it extremely well. We'll see though. I still haven't totally decided.
Anyway, I am so excited. It has been the hardest thing for me to hear about all of these people getting pregnant and having babies. I don't like the idea of my kids being so far apart. Yes - to me -- to ME (my own personal preference) is that 2 1/2 years is too far apart for kids to be. 2 years would be a max for the next one. I just look at how close my siblings were/are now and how I was kind of an only child for years. I want them to grow-up together.
Well, that's that folks. I won't be losing my 40 lbs by April. But hopefully I will manage this pregnancy better than the last and lose the weight fast after.... We shall see :) Because I know you all care SO much, I'll be sure to keep you updated after each dr. appt :)

I care!!! Yeay Im so excited to be pregnant together.. Hopefully these two will be as close as Devri and Chloe. Definatly keep posting. When is your next anyways? Mines March 15th BTW.

I think I would have my kids closer together if it weren't for the whole "puking my guts up for 6-7 months" part. :( Hooray for big families!! Good luck with everything. Can't wait to see you at fair time! Love you!
ReplyDeleteWell Congrats again! I look up to people like you who can have lots of kids............as for me I am not a lucky one and get sick sick sick the entire time. You keep having cute little kids and I will just watch and say "ahhhhhhhhhhh how cute" ha ha! CONGRATS!!!! Seriously so excited for you!

I know what you mean about being ready for number 2 when Chloe was 6 months, I've been ready for number 2 for a few months, but I'm trying to just enjoy Ben for a a little longer. I'm right with you on wanting my kids to be close in age too. I'm so excited for you, makes me want another one even more!

ReplyDeleteCongrats again Bonnie! I totally agree with you on wanting to have your kids close. I came from a family of 8 kids and I want a lot of children too. Nothing is better than having lots of siblings to play with! :) I have to have c-sections too and am blessed to have great drs and know how to recover and what to expect. I seriously thought that my recovery was WAY faster and better with Jayden than it was with my first. I am hoping it is even better this third time around. Congrats again and I hope this pregnancy goes smoothly for you...I am sure it will because of you being a lucky one with no morning sickness...you are a lucky girl with that one! :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome that you want lots of kids, there aren't many people like that anymore! I do too. I sympathize with you about c sections and the amount of time between babies. Are you considering V-BAC at all? I was, but it may not work out for me with my particular circumstance. I just mention it because I have a friend who's first was a c-section, and afterwards she had 5 more vaginally, so it is possible. Anyways, congrats and I think your desires in regards to your family are awesome.
