We went camping (again...) last weekend. It was just the 3 of us (plus our dogs) and we had fun! However, on the first night, Shane wanted to go check out the nearby lake so we drove down. He backed up the truck so we could sit on the tailgate while he fished. I warned him, but..... Well I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Shane used his hammer as our shovel...

ANYWAY - after about an hour of us trying on our own, Shane ran back up to our campsite to get his 4-wheeler, because maybe that can pull us out (HA! **eye roll**) Shane quickly realized that nothing was working and the only people driving by had trailers hooked up so they obviously couldn't help us. He sped off to find some help. Not 2 minutes later, a white truck slowed and came down the hill to help. Out jumped 2 local "hicks". **I use that term endearingly because they so reminded me of the farm-boys in Logandale. I had to keep reminding myself that I was in Utah. So, EVENTUALLY we were able to jack the truck up high enough to dump some rocks under the tires. That gave enough traction that I was able to floor it out of there!! Yes, I was the one behind the wheel this whole time. :)

Now for the fun stuff! The next day, our dogs were running around, playing in the water. I discovered that we have a little "Baywatch Dog". Shelby would run along the beach, but in the water just enough to splash around - our very own Pamela Anderson.

Shelby and Daisy were having so much fun and being really well-behaved! And Chloe just sat in her stroller the whole time. She kept kicking her feet out from the blanket I covered her with and I snuck a video through the little window at the top of the stroller. She makes the funniest noises when she thinks no one is watching. When we are watching, she just does it for attention - and it totally works.

Here are some pics from our recent camping trip to Soapstone (Uintas). It was very pretty, but VERY fly-ridden. That drove me nuts!! Thank goodness I had the trailer to keep me safe :) The trip was fun though. It wasn't the same as our annual trip to Wyoming, but still fun.

Chloe was an angel. She slept through the night and was just happy the whole time, except when she was hungry. Oh she is so like her Mommy!! I'm too tired to make this layout look pretty, so you'll just have to bear with it - I'm so behind....

7/28 - 8/2/2008

Shane doesn't get to spend much time with the doggies anymore, so this was nice.
Chloe LOVES to grab cheeks and give big, wet kisses now!!!
Their eyes look strange (light...) but they just sat like that for about 10 minutes - never happens
She was holding her bottle all by her little self :)

We went fishing at Mirror Lake. I fell asleep....Shelby LOVES to give kisses, even to Chloe. And Chloe likes it too!!

I couldn't decide which of these 2 I liked better; so guess what!! You get BOTH!

We went 4 wheeling one night and got really dirty.... It took a while to wash that off...

Shane went 4 wheeling and made the dogs chase after him - Shelby was BEAT!

A butterfly landed on Shane and so we played with it. We finally got it to fly away after about 10 minutes!

FAMILY REUNION

This weekend was the Bradford Family Reunion. I don't really know this side of my family too well, but it was still a lot of fun. I hardly ever see my parents, or even my siblings that live in the area. So this was a good chance for us all to hang out together!

I wasn't around for much on Thursday, but Friday went like this - Breakfast was at the Spanish Fork Cemetery; a little strange, I know, but most of my Dad's side of the family is buried there. We split into groups and learned different things about our heritage. It was very nice. Then, on Friday evening, our family had the Spanish Fork water park to ourselves! I have not been in a pool or even swimming in - I don't know how long! And this was Chloe's first time. She actually liked it :)

Saturday was mostly just lounging around at the pavilion we had rented in a Spanish Fork park. The whole weekend was nice. I learned few things too! There are 175 members in my Grandpa's posterity; only 3 have died in 70 years. My ancestors had great senses of humor (ask to hear the story if you want), and my Grandpa is NEVER going to die - which is a good thing! 90 years (almost 91) and still kicking!

I took SO many pictures so of course, I can't post all of them. I wish I could, because there are some good ones!! I'll just have to make another slide show :)

HANGIN OUT

I've just been taking some random pics and here are some of my faves! The last one is just too precious for words!!!

I just love this picture, so I had to share it :) She likes to sit in her new high chair!!
We went on a hike (walk...) near Bridal Veil Falls - I have never seen the falls up close, so I was excited!

I forgot to bring sunscreen on our little hike so I used Shane's hat - she didn't like it very much :(

Little Chubbers!

I just love how chubby her cheeks are!! Again - picture from a cell phone so the quality is bad...

On my drive down to Logandale, I had Chloe in the front seat (don't worry all of you paranoid people - the air bag was OFF). She had been trying SO hard to reach for and grab at things. I was just driving, listening to my "Ace of Base - Greatest Hits" and I heard her little bell toy ringing. I looked over and had to hurry and get some video (sorry for the poor quality!).

Well, I guess I haven't posted anything for a few days - and I'm at work so I just have pics from my cell phone, but these are from last weekend at my mom's house. I always love going down there to visit! Hopefully we can get our house SOLD so we can start the process of moving to St George sooner rather than later!!!

This is Chloe in her 4th of July outfit.
She wasn't happy about me putting her down...

Brian and Layne were gracious enough to watch our dogs while we were both gone. ***They seem to make themselves right at home wherever they go (thanks again guys!!)
