Shane used his hammer as our shovel...
ANYWAY - after about an hour of us trying on our own, Shane ran back up to our campsite to get his 4-wheeler, because maybe that can pull us out (HA! **eye roll**) Shane quickly realized that nothing was working and the only people driving by had trailers hooked up so they obviously couldn't help us. He sped off to find some help. Not 2 minutes later, a white truck slowed and came down the hill to help. Out jumped 2 local "hicks". **I use that term endearingly because they so reminded me of the farm-boys in Logandale. I had to keep reminding myself that I was in Utah. So, EVENTUALLY we were able to jack the truck up high enough to dump some rocks under the tires. That gave enough traction that I was able to floor it out of there!! Yes, I was the one behind the wheel this whole time. :)
Now for the fun stuff! The next day, our dogs were running around, playing in the water. I discovered that we have a little "Baywatch Dog". Shelby would run along the beach, but in the water just enough to splash around - our very own Pamela Anderson.
Shelby and Daisy were having so much fun and being really well-behaved! And Chloe just sat in her stroller the whole time. She kept kicking her feet out from the blanket I covered her with and I snuck a video through the little window at the top of the stroller. She makes the funniest noises when she thinks no one is watching. When we are watching, she just does it for attention - and it totally works.
