Interesting Day....

We went for a drive a couple of weeks ago and Shane decided to take us on a dirt...mud... road. Didn't go over so well. After we pulled off the road, the car started acting funny - bouncing at high speed and that. Well, we pulled over and looked at the tires... well see for yourself!

This is where we were - the middle of nowhere!!!

Shane paid $10 in quarters and at the car wash to spray it down. Still didn't get it off! I eventually took it in to Big O Tires and they took the tire off and cleaned it all down for me (for FREE!!)

PIGGIES!!!
I love pigs so I was very excited to have an excuse to look at the piglets! I usually walk over every year, but I have a child now so people can't shoot me dirty looks when I shove my way to the front :)

First carousel ride - loved it! Me, on the other hand... It was too fast to not be sitting down!

Riding in cars with her cousin, Devri. Despite the terrified look on her face, she really liked this ride.

Shane's dream car of the minute. He changes it every time we see a nice car!

She rode a pony - she actually rode a pony!! No tears, no fussing!!

The rodeo... Not my fave, but my dad gets us tickets and Shane likes it!

This isn't the fair, but too cute. Chloe likes to play piano and my mom has 2 Grands, so PLENTY to go around :)

Easter Egg Hunt

Again, TOO many pictures to post them all.... Janell (my pregnant sister) helped Chloe since I was holding baby Cameron. She was so cute to hold her own bucket and walk (with assistance) around. She only got about 8 eggs, but she actually picked up a few on her own - with some coaxing.

She DEFINITELY has the idea of Easter Eggs ;)

SO tired by about 10:30.... Shane had to lay down with her to get her to take a nap. We ended up having to wake her up to make it to church on time!

Easter Outfit/Pictures

Easter Sunday was QUITE the day! Shane was still super sick so we barely made it to church (barely caught baby Cameron's blessing) and then had to ditch early because Shane would have disrupted the whole meeting with his cough!! Anyway, here is my little Chloe in her Easter dress that my mom bought her last year. It was just too cute to pass up.


On our way home, we stopped at the St George Temple. It is one of mine and Shane's favorite places. It was such a beautiful day and there were so many people out on the lawn just enjoying the day. It's so great to be able to do that :) We took lots and LOTS of pics (too many to post here)!

Chloe bumped her head on the sidewalk so Daddy had to soothe her.

One Year Appointment!

Well, she had to get three shots today and the nurses made me hold her hands while they shoved needles into the backs of her arms!! Awful... She was just fine after a few minutes. She's not grown very much in the last 3 months though. She's 21 lbs 11 oz and 29 1/4 in long. She is in the 61st and 57th percentiles respectively. She's not tall anymore!!! YAY!!! **I want short girls** Her head is still pretty big though! Anyway, just thought I'd share that little tidbit with you all! Next appt in 3 months!

Chloe's Birthday(s) Fun!

Yes, she only has one birthday, but she got two special days this year! I left work early to spend her actual birthday with her. Then, on Saturday she had her party :) Below are just some pics from the days. We went to the park on the 18th and found a new love - swinging!!

I was hoping that she would be asleep when I went in to take her picture, but she always wakes up (kind of) as soon as I open her door...

And she is SUCH a happy baby in the morning.

The park was totally empty so we were able to just play and not worry about any annoying little kids ruining our fun!!!

Then her PARTY!!!
I feel really bad because she was not her normal self this day. She has been running a fever and had just woken up from a nap. There were about 30 people around and it was hot... But Chloe was a trooper and did great.

My first attempt at making a "real" cake. Eh.... not so much...

We went for a drive on Sunday afternoon to .... I don't even know for sure!! For the first time in the 3 1/2 years that I've known Shane, he actually got lost!!! Obviously, we eventually figured out where we were though. But we stopped at a park on the way and Chloe had SO much fun crawling around on the grass and sliding and swinging... This was about 5 minutes after we were in the car, on our way home. Poor thing was pooped, but it was worth it :)
