Ghetto Gospel!!

I haven't posted anything for a little bit and I thought this was funny. Last night was the first time that she has ever really gotten messy while eating - or ever for that matter...

I forgot to post this last week... On Nov 1, we went up to Wyoming for Shane's Grandma's 80th b-day party. I have to say - neither of us were totally stoked to go all that way, but we ended up having a lot of fun! Here are some pics from the evening:

Happy Halloween!!

So, my office had a Halloween decorating contest this year - this was Customer Service's hall. I thought it was awesome and very fun to do :)

At the end of the day, all the little kids come and Trick-or-Treat. I went and picked up Chloe and she got to "play" with Devri. Chloe already has the right idea about Halloween - she kept stealing candy out of the bowls :)

Chloe and Nick are just about 2 months apart so its fun to get them together (all 3 times)

These are Mark's kids - Boyd was Indiana Jones; Daphne was Sleeping Beauty too; Phillip was a skunk; and baby Nick was a little penguin.

I told Boyd that Chloe loved to play 'peek-a-boo' so he spent about 10 minutes playing and Chloe got a big kick out of it.

Well, I was feeling nostalgic tonight so I scanned a picture from High School Prom. This is my senior year, and probably a 1/4 of my senior class. Not that I don't love my life now, this was just a simpler time :)
And a little something special for Lauren, my TAGGER!!! This is from girls' camp oh, about 7 years ago!!! (I still like to be tagged though)

I did this b/c I did not like the 4th picture in the 4th folder on my computer. It was of Shane's best friend and he really doesn't have anything to do with this blog!!! But I guess I'll post it just to be fair :(

Our HOUSE!

Well I just realized that I have never really posted any pictures of my house on here... See the kitchen below then the stairs going up... Then my bedroom and Chloe's room. Obviously that is not every room - but the ones that are clean :) BTW - our house was just put up for sale so if anyone is looking or knows someone who is.......

Playing Catch-Up!!!!

So I'm a little behind in postings. Of course it's all pictures of Chloe, but she gets bigger and does new things every day so I need to make sure everyone stays informed!

I'm just posting this one because I love it so much!!

Wingers... ahhh Wingers... Chloe likes to play with popcorn! Of course we didn't let her have any, duh... But she would not stop reaching for the bowl! It was so funny and cute.

Chloe is sitting up like she has been doing it all along! It's so cute... She really likes it too. When we go out to eat (which we totally shouldn't b/c we have NO money whatsoever) she sits in the highchairs like a pro! Here are just some different scenarios where she sits up :) I'm sorry for all the Chloe pics, but that's really all that's going on in my life!

We went to my Grandpa's 91st birthday party on 10/12 and decided to go out and look at the neighbors horses. You could tell these horses were used to being hand-fed by little kids. So I got Chloe close to the fence so maybe the horse would get close to her and she would like it.... Well... the horse got close, in fact at one point I thought it bit her!! Don't worry - didn't happen at all. Chloe just kind of looked at the horse like, "That's it? You can do better than that", but I did feed it an apple and it was weird. I've fed horses before, but none so greedy!!!

We had our first snow last weekend!! It wasn't much - nothing stuck in Springville, but it was still snow!

I went to Gardner Village with Shane's fam this week - I have to say that I had never even heard of the place, but it was so cute! There were a lot of stores we weren't able to go into (strollers really prohibit a lot!!) but I still had fun. Chloe was SUCH a good little girl.She even sat for a photo session with a witch :)

We went to Chili's afterwards and she sat in the highchair like a good little girl while we ate.

When I got home, I realized that I hadn't been able to have her wear any of the cute little hats I bought her, so we prentended that it was sunny inside the house! The I just sat her in the crib and took some shots.

6 Months!

So I forgot to let everyone know about Chloe's 6 month check up. Yes, yes... she is well past 6 months, but what can I say?! I have a popular doctor who is hard to schedule!

She is 22 inches and 17.8 lbs. Her weight and head size are in the 50-60% range. Her height, however, is....... TADA!!! In the 35%!! I know it's not a huge leap, but so far she is short and chubby - just like her Mommy!!! :)
